SCOUTS BSA
Ages: Youth 11-17
Scouts BSA is the traditional Scouting experience where boys and girls can have their share of adventure in the great outdoors. Develop a love of service by volunteering in your community, boost your leadership skills through fun and exciting challenges, and create memories of a lifetime with no prior Scouting experience required!
Council Resources
North East Georgia Council spans over 26 counties.
Serving over 30,000 youth and adults, the Northeast Georgia Council was chartered by the Boy Scouts of America in 1935 to provide Scouting programs in twenty-six counties. After years of phenomenal growth, our council now serves more than 25,000 youth in Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Varsity Scouting, Venturing, Exploring, and in-school Learning for Life. Three camping facilities (Camp Rainey Mountain, Scoutland, and Camp Rotary) and two service centers (Jefferson and Lawrenceville) support the youth members and volunteer leaders.
District Resources
Apalachee District serves the northern half of Gwinnett County.
International Scouting
Scouting is a world-wide movement, and scouts can participate in activities on all continents.
