About the Troop
Troop 5109 is an all-girl Scouts BSA troop that focuses on development of the individual through scouting skills and activities. The scouts work together to help each other advance while growing the troop.

Baden Powell described Scouting as Fun with a Purpose. We believe that learning is best done when the learning activity is enjoyable and memorable. Instead of just talking about how to do something, we get out and do it. Instead of watching videos about how to do something, we watch, then do!

ADVENTURE
Adventure keeps things interesting. Whether it is a weekend camp or a week-long expedition, our troop does it all.
Adventure can come in variety of forms. Sailing the open seas, hiking and camping in the back country and mountains, camping in snow caves you build yourself, relaxing with friends at a local lake. Come and see what adventure means to you.
ADVANCEMENT
Eagle is the ultimate goal but it’s a journey and not a destination.
Fewer than 7% of all scouts obtain the rank of Eagle Scout. Even though the requirements for obtaining Eagle are the same for everyone, the journey to eagle is unique to each Scout.
The journey is what makes Scouting such an important part of a scout’s life and what develops the skills and attitudes that last a lifetime.
